The Damerell Group Rookie Programme was created to get your real estate career off to a cracking start. We help to build a solid real estate foundation and create momentum in an ever changing industry. It’s a complete introductory programme that kicks off with a two week course run by experienced real estate experts. The training is then followed by regular skills workshops, supportive mentoring and sessions to help you stay on track.
What do you need to have to be eligible for this programme?
We’re keen to hear from people who are new to real estate and have their license – whether you’ve just got your licence and this is your first dip into the industry, or if this is your first 6 months and you’re after some fine tuning. Our programme shows what skills are required in real estate, as well as how and when to use them. We look at real estate in a holistic way, from mindset to processes and putting these into action. We are lucky to have brilliant trainers who have worked in the industry with true experiences to assist you on your journey.
What support would I get?
Rookies start off with a two week program into all things real estate – basically ‘real estate 101’ with our in-house trainer, plus guest speakers. We do things slightly differently here at Ray White Damerell Group; we like to think it’s part of what makes our business pretty special. We have our in-house marketing and compliance teams that assist rookies in getting their brand out into the market with confidence. Good systems and technology are at the core of our business – this allows for positive structures and habits to be formed. We put a large focus on nurturing our rookies, our role is to build them up, with knowledge, confidence and experience. Ongoing training covers weekly ‘deep dives’ sessions to analyse the market, feedback, traffic and what we can do to service our vendors and buyers alike. We have fortnightly Matchmakers meetings with Jacki Lane, our amazing Takapuna Sales Director, where we collectively match buyers and sellers to create an exceptional customer journey with Damerell Group. Rookies also have 1:1’s with their Sales Director on a weekly basis; these regular sessions enable rookies to access business mentorship, learn from industry experts and take guidance on the structure and direction of their own business.
