Doing our part for Tāmaki Makaurau

Doing our part for Tāmaki Makaurau

Every year we aim to give back to our local community. As we grow, so too does the support we provide to different charities and local organisations. We’re now a eight-strong office network and are really lucky to represent quite different parts of Auckland – from Greater Ponsonby and West Auckland, to the North Shore. And our office locations are just one part of our network as we’re a true ‘sell without borders’ style business – from homes in Pokeno and Paerata, to Kumeu, Langholm, Torbay, and even Rakino Island.

Here is a community wrap-up of our best bits from 2021:

Our Mt Albert team has donated a total of $1,440 just this year alone to Women’s Refuge. This donation means that 72 safe nights have been provided to women and their families in their time of need.

Fab Feb, our annual campaign in support of the LBGTQ+ community, fundraised over $7,000 for Rainbow Youth. Supported by drag queen superstars, Rita & Kita, we ran an auction fundraiser and even had the girls visiting open homes to promote awareness for our rainbow community. This donation helped Rainbow Youth to further fund their youth counselling and helpline services.

10 family food boxes donated to those in need around Auckland. Christmas Box works with corporate sponsors, the community, and Government organisations to distribute food boxes for families who might not otherwise get a chance to celebrate Christmas.

Official community partners with Harbour Basketball, an organisation that encourages participation for all ages in basketball and runs various programmes for young athletes to find a pathway for professional success in the sport.

Our community programme already looks busy for 2022, with the Trees for Schools initiative, Cox’s Bay clean-up, and Fab Feb campaign which next year will be supporting Body Positive. Watch this space for how you can get involved!
